hi everyone.
first of all thank you to ariel for the awesome pens! LOVE THEM! will post a picture when i have a minute to do so.
second of all i am so stressed out about going away- you all know of my fear of flying which is presently kicked into high gear…ugh.
but i am relieved that my mom bunny is home from the hospital and doing ok- so relieved.
rosie had to cancel tomorrow’s lunch due to the death of her dear friend tim… i understand completely, and will use the free time to finish chanukah shopping and packing for our trip. perhaps pushing the lunch off a bit is a good thing since i have been so stressed and not feeling like myself for the past week.
hope all your holiday shopping is completed.

I’m glad to hear that Bunny is home and doing well. I bet she feels a little bit better each day!
Sounds like it’s all for the best that your lunch with Rosie has been postponed. I read about Tim on her blog, and can’t even imagine how she’s staying so cheery on The View after this tragic loss.
Better to postpone, and you’ll both be at your best after the holidays.
I share your feelings about flying – total anxiety, from start to finish. I used to love flying when I was younger, but after I had kids, it just wasn’t the same. Just another thing to worry about. All I can say is – medicate! It helps!
As for Hanukkah, when all else fails, hand out some giftcards. That’s what I do, and then you have the activity of shopping for the kids to look forward to. Try to relax and enjoy!

Hi Jennifer,
So glad that your mom is on the road to recovery. Are you going on vacation? I guess I missed the show when you said you will be traveling. So….where are you going, would you like for me to fill in for you with Alexis, it would be fun. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Hey Jennifer,
Relax and breathe 🙂 Be YOURSELF – Rosie will love you as is, when it does happen. This will go well for you.
XOXX,

Hey Jennifer — glad your mom is home. Wanted to say something in support of her cranky beahvior (I guess she had cranky behavior in the hospital from what you say). I don’t think of myself as being persnickity or particular or prima donna-ish (I’m close to your mom’s age — I’m 55) but when I was in my 20s — lo those many years ago! — I broke my leg and was in the hospital for surgery where my mother was a nurse. She told me that while I was there she could not walk down the hall with her head up because I embarrassed her so much with my behavior!! When you’re in the hospital it’s hard to be pleasant!! (the birth of a baby — well, that’s different.) –ML in NM (my son and I are HUGE fans)

Have you tried a hypnotist for the fear of flying? I did that about 10 years ago and now I’m the complete opposite and love to fly. I find it to be the best time to get away from everything and just read. I look forward to trips where I can fly, so I have uninterrupted time to enjoy a good book!

I didn’t know you were traveling, either. You aren’t talking about Las Vegas are you?

Hey Jennifer did you catch Rosie saying last Wednesday that she had dinner with Meg Ryan “last night”???
I hope that you will reschedule as soon as you get back from Florida…I love Rosie just like you and can hardly wait to hear how the lunch/dinner/guest spot goes!
Luv you 2 gals!
