i love (not!) when we get emails or comments telling us that we
a. need to blog more.
b. need to change what we blog about.
alexis and i are two different people (hence the side by side blog) and we do different things in our lives outside of the radio show.
obviously, alexis cooks and bakes more than i do (thankfully because her stuff looks/tastes so good and her blogs are wickedly informative), and she shares books she's read and loved. and alexis even shares the (never ending) process of building/decorating her apartment- how cool to see what i know i ordinarily wouldn't get to see.
and i tend to write about my feelings. or i'll share something about my family life or i'll make a silly video blog (been planning to video my playing american idol on playstation but haven't gotten around to it yet!) or i'll talk about what books im currently into.
but the idea of forcing a blog, at least for me, is so unappealing.
i like to write from my heart- or share something i feel worthy of being shared.
i'm not interested in posting just to please irritated blog visitors. seems exactly the opposite of the point of my side of the blog- of either side of our blog actually.
and sure, there are weeks when i don't blog at all..because maybe there are things going on that i don't want to talk about. or maybe i'm just feeling moody. or maybe i am swamped for whatever reason with my job, my husband, my kids etc... (not unlike all of you!)
so have patience...please. blogs will come. they always do.
they just will continue to be on my schedule.
