i have about 5 days a month when my brain chemistry/hormones are in sync and i'm feeling neither insane nor super sad - i'm day 1 of those 5 days this month so i figured it was the perfect time to try a cleanse. my emotional state can handle a decrease in sugar, dairy and gluten. this way, 4 days from now when I'm off my rocker again, at least i'll feel less bloated than i would've without the cleansing! the company im using to cleanse is called green and tonic. i heard of them from a listener who called into my show .. and then another listener posted about them on my fb saying the juice/food is yummy. got to work today and was greeted by my bag of goodies! (not the cupcake kind of goodies but best to have positive outlook when doing these kind of things!) opened bag to see contents packaged beautifully and ecologically. in my bag o'plenty, i got 3 juices and 1 nutmilk/day, 1 salad/day, 1 soup/day, 1 energy bar/day, 1 lemon/day and 1 detox tea/day. and at the end of day 1 i can tell you it is DELICIOUS and DOABLE! and not super low calorie (definitely 1200 plus which is more than i'm used to eating ) have a feeling the energy bar is going to be addictive because i love seeds and dried fruit type stuff. mmmmmm. dr mark hyman was on my show today (new book blood sugar solution) and he believes cleansing every so often is beneficial to our systems. and i like him! If this does not work for me i'm going to buy garcinia cambogia by Dr Oz, to give that a shot. wish me luck! do you ever cleanse?! and if so, drinking/eating what and how often?
