Katie Holmes stopped by SiriusXM’s Just Jenny show to talk with Jenny Hutt about Katie’s directorial debut of her feature film “All We Had.” During the exclusive interview airing today on SiriusXM Stars channel 109, Katie also talks Dawson’s Creek Reunion and which actors she’d love to direct, and her mommy-ing philosophy.
Some highlights of the interview below:
Jenny Hutt: Since you started directing…Who are three actors or actresses you’d just LOVE to work with?
Katie Holmes: Wow, I think Marion Coitillard, Al Pacino and Viola Davis….I watched “Panic In Needle Park” as a source of inspiration for “All We Had,” and he was just so good in it.
Jenny Hutt: When I said I was going to be talking to you again, people were like “Dawson’s Creek!” Reunion?! So any closer?
Katie Holmes: I don’t think we’re going to do a reunion.
Jenny Hutt: Oh, So sad!
Katie Holmes: I know,
Jenny Hutt: Do you still talk to anyone still from there (Dawson’s Creek) or you all just grew up?
Katie Holmes: We did grow up but we see each other every now and then and I think that the charm of the show was Kevin Williamson’s writing and it was of that time. And it gave teenagers this voice. It was a very very special time…special show. And I loved every minute of it.
