so phoebe cates is scheduled to be on whatever with alexis and jennifer tomorrow (10.26.06)… and i forgot to promote it at the end of today’s show. and maybe, i’m thinking, i forgot to promote it because i don’t believe she’ll actually show. it is so exciting. we’ve been trying to book her for a while. it’ll be super fun. definitely tune in, just in case! oh. and i promised someone would be salacious as well… i better find a definition of salacious!

As a loyal listenner, I think you really missed an opportunity to ask Phoebe about her family on teh air – I know you asked about her husband and kids etc but her Dad was a fascinating guy who was a producer of the 64,ooo question,lived through the black list era and a long time television producer etc. Phoebe comes from one of the original television pioneering families( gil Cates etc etc…) I know you are personal friends but it was a real miss in the interview not to ask . For obvious reasons alexis is always referring to her mom as a contrasting point to her own personality and jennifer talks about her close relationship with her family- I always consider family referances to be one of your hallmarks in your show- one that usually makes me laugh and serves as a reminder that everyone and every family is really very alike.Just wanted you to have my thoughts…
