i went back to market today to purchase more veggies and other healthy fare. you can see some of the prices but not all i think.. yes, eating organic/healthy is expensive. but it is worth it. and i figure, at the end of the day, it all evens out in terms of what i spend… the crappy kids snacks end up costing a lot (we pay for the packaging)so without buying those items and buying the organic i break even. i had to pee so badly at the market- which was a waldbaums- which was lovely and clean- BUT the bathroom was so very disgusting…. so disgusting that it made the bathroom at sirius seem immaculate. but i had to go so i did and i came home and showered for a second time today (even though i squatted duh!). then i went to vote.

i wish the avocados were a little more ripe but they will be in a couple of days.

milk… i do love a latte. i use instant coffee cause it takes very little time to make with hot milk. i have that hot beverage every morning before taking the kids to school… i guess technically it’s not a latte but it is delicious.
who doesn’t love cheese?
i voted all democratic today. i hope it makes a difference!

Me too – go democrats! I live in Virginia we had 3 amendments (very wordy) which caused people to read and think! The senior voters had problems with the new technology – I waited in line 45 minutes.
YEAH FOR THE DEMOCRATIC VOTE…but it seems you still have the OLD VOTING MACHINES! We finally have the new machines and I went XTRA early thinking people wouldn’t be able to figure them out! Turns out I was only the 2nd in line! (with my cheat sheet for the 5 questions at 6:30am!)

I only eat organic! Great job! BUT, do not buy Horizon! It’s bad Organic. Buy Organic Valley! Horizon do not treat their cows well, and they are organic, but not grass fed!

I think I’m “bi”…I voted Democrat for our Governor (voted for her 4 yrs ago too!) and Republican for House and Senate. You’re not too outdated Jen…we filled in circles on paper! Yikes! As for Organic…I love cows! They are cute and tasty when grilled right! Sorry 🙁

Hi Jennifer! With 59.4% of the votes in I am 5/12 for the 3 seats for school board! My husband didn’t vote. I’m not happy about that, but it is pretty cool that I did so well! 🙂

Have a great book for you to get for your new way of eating. The New York Diet by Dan Kirsch…I think that is his name…in 3 weeks I have lost 18 lbs…and have not felt hungry once…it is so easy and the food is amazing…and it is a life style change not a diet…
Don’t buy boxed salad!! Or carrots for that matter!
