omg. today someone emailed the show saying that rosie, rosie o’donnell herself, answered MY question on her blog on rosie.com (you’ll have to scroll down to find my question and her answer)…and i am so excited. i asked rosie to come on alexis and my show… and she responded with "let’s all have dinner first"… i’ve been wanting rosie to come on our show since we began, but dinner with rosie?????!!!!! omg, way better!!
now the question is… how do i follow up? do i have "my people" contact "her people"? wait a sec….. i have no "people"! do i contact her publicist??? do i wait and see if she contacts me??? doesn’t her posting THAT response on her blog mean the ball is in my court???? omg.
the best part is alexis likes rosie… phew.

Jennifer, Rosie and Martha have appeared on each other’s show. You get Martha to call up Rosie and ya’ll all go out to dinner. (leaving Alexis at home if she’s cranky and not talking to her mother at that time, hehe). Then you hit it off at dinner. Rosie comes on your show. (try to book her before Dec. 15 so she can promote her charity cruise from Miami that weekend). Then Rosie goes and puts in a word to Barbara about you or you/Alexis doing a day gig on the View. Simple! Work it.

I love Rosie’s honesty, which is exactly what I love about Whatever. I think having Rosie on your show would be a great match. And like Emmy said, it would help you get a guest host gig on The View.
My friend’s niece is a producer on the show. Hey, maybe you should contact her! She always bumps us up to VIP status when we see the show live. Nothing like sitting up front in that audience. We went last Wed, and the energy in the studio is palpable – we all felt like we were part of something BIG. You would be great on that panel, Jenny!
I just wrote an “Ask Ro” question and encouraged Rosie to go on Whatever. And to consider having you as a guest host. Hey, maybe if enough of us do that, Rosie will listen! :=)

I just read your question on rosie – I came over here to see if it was really you! That would be a great show (and maybe you could lobby her to be on The View!!). I love “Whatever” and I really hope you guys consider doing a podcast for those of us who can’t always make it for the live show or the re-runs. Podcasts are like my TiVo for radio shows and I know you understand how important that is!
