do you think they’re big enough to hold their spouses? seriously how cute is that! i had a big sister and i always went into her bed in the middle of the night and one day my dad says, no more, just come into me if you get scared and i did and he looked at me and said “go sleep with your sister.”
Our little guy (4.5) climbed into bed with us at 4:00am and proceeded to start a converstion…ugh. I said “It’s 4am, go to sleep” Ahh the joys of parenthood…
I found you guys from the Rosie blog…I hope you hear from her soon!
Haha. Cuuuute. I remember waking my parents up in the middle of the night to sleep in the bed with them. Also, Im sure you will hear form Rosie’s assistant sooooon.
uh…boring!
What a great idea! My kids used to climb into bed with us in the middle of the night when they were little. It was so hard to get a good nite’s sleep. This is a good compromise, until they outgrow that habit (took my kids till about 9 or 10 – ugh!)
That is so sweet Jennifer! You’re a good mom 🙂
Oh been there still doing that. My daughter will be seven in a few weeks and was on our floor in a blow up bed last night. my thirteen year old, football player, 172 pound son came in crying at 4:00 am about a bad dream so he laid at the foot of our bed. There were two dogs somewhere in the mix. Why oh why did I spend all that money for a four bedroom 2100 square foot house???
I wuved having them there, tho. Don’t tell hubby.
That is such a good idea. You are really nice to do that. You are a great mom
