When you’re at home, you’re at home, and that’s what we want to see… the real picture of how you spend your time when you’re there with your family relaxing.

why are you even defending yourself over this bullshit hair thing??? don’t even give a truck. in general, people who make nasty comments in print, and not face to face, do so because they have imperfections (read: fat, globular, not so pretty, etc.). on the other hand, be happy people are being nasty. that means you are successful. toodles.
I stand by what I said. Why don’t you check out whateverfannetwork.com, under the topic of ‘blogs’ before you pass judgement. Open dialogue doesn’t mean criticism, it’s all in how you interpret it. You need to keep an open mind,(if possible).
You have gorgeous hair. On the Martha show, Alexis mentioned that you spent a fortune on it. Hence, our expectations of its appearance were cruelly and unfairly heightened. Actually, your somewhat less than ready for primetime look creates a very endearing intimacy, in or out of the closet.
You do not have to explain who you are! or what you do when your at home. We all like you just the way you are. You let people get to you way too much.

Don’t change a thing, it’s real life at home. I’m 45 and 2 years ago I had cancer surgery, since then I have decided that life is way too short to spend an hour putting on all that makeup just to go out of the house. I make sure to put on my face lotion each day and lipstick and I’m out the door! Who cares, ask most men and they don’t like makeup anyway! Natural is the way to go!
All I have to say about the complainers is screw ’em! What should it matter how you look (which is adorable, by the way!)? I wonder how they all look when they’re just hanging out at home. Just remember that when someone complains about something concerning someone else, it usually has to do with their own insecurities & something they don’t like about themselves. Keep up the great work, Jennifer!
