i may not be a fantastic baker (YET!), nor a wonderful cook (YET!)- no i can’t run a marathon and i am a very slow runner/walker…. but i am a terrific communicator.

It’s nice that you’re available, but you don’t have to be. Just because you run a radio show doesn’t mean that you need to e-mail with people and be available to them via aim. That’s just ridiculous. Who cares, tell these people to get a life! I love your show, you both are fun to listen to, you are kinda like having some friends along for my ride home, but I don’t think that you’re really my friends or that you owe me replies when I comment. C’mon, that’s just silly and kind of creepy.

Alexis has indeed been more active on the blog comments. She would love nothing more than to tell you to go fuck yourself on the blog. Jennifer is more active on AIM and Email. Jennifer: Why do you even bother to respond to THAT? I understand that a fan feels that a response to a question would be a good thing (I certainly feel that way) but I don’t see the need to be so nasty and bent out of shape if you don’t get one. She sounds like a nut job.

Just got a Mac Book. I am learning (very slowly) and added Whatever to ichat. Any tips to ichat…do you have a specific time? I must use my next one on one to find out how it works. I so enjoyed the show!
I’ll take a bowl of stew and some buttermilk cookies please, it looks great. And why would you want to run a marathon if you have to shit and pee on yourself just to win? And at least your cookies aren’t slice and bake, so you get the A for effort there. You may not retire from Sirius but all good radio shows must end, think about WKRP in Cincinnati… you feel better? I can go from zero to bitch in nano-seconds so you better respond to this or I’ll leave a nasty comment – whatever.
Jenny, ignore the haters. They’re just looking to get a rise out of you. You probably hanged up on her while she was trying to convert you to jesus (yes lower case on purpose). Your real fans love you, and love everything you share on the blog. Keep up the good work, and ignore the few losers that have nothing better to do then spread hate.
Jeez Jessica, if you are what you consider a “fan” then I would ignore you too! These are called “posts” and not your personal correspondence with Jennifer or Alexis. In reading your “post” I don’t recall seeing a question to reply to so why do you have your panties in such a bunch? I didn’t see any complaints from the fans that did ask questions, who elected you their personal representative? Lock your trailer door and go back to bed.
I love the stories and pictures of your cooking/baking adventures! It’s good to know that we are all kindred spirits in our cooking/baking efforts. And the blog by you and Alexis are a blast to read! Keep on!
I have found that there are some really great people that respond to the Blogs and some really psychotic people that respond. “whatever her name was” falls in the psychotic category. Keep up the great work…respond to the positive and ignore the negative. They will eventually go away. Remember, the cream always rises to the top!
Jennifer – You are so funny. I too love hearing about your baking & cooking adventures. Listening to you and Alexis makes me want to cook and bake more. I am going to make some butter cookies this weekend. They’re just what I feel like making. So, hope they turn out good. Happy Baking!
I have been listening to your show for about two years now. It is hilarious. The last couple days with the baby birthing was not my cup of tea, but there are probably many listeners that benefited from it. I like to see what both of you are baking and cooking. It makes me want to get the recipes from the cookbooks you mention. There will always be naysayers, but you are above that.
Regarding your whoopie pies you made….where did you get the mold for them? Love you guys!
P.S. I give Jennifer an A for trying out new recipes. She may not be a perfect baker like Alexis, but shows a baking side that most of us can relate to.

Yes Jen, is there usu. a particular time that you are on AIM. I too am learning how to IM. Is the aim the same as your e-mail address but it is logged into AIM? Thanks.
Jennifer, I would suggest NOT to post times when you are on AIM, then you have to be in a commentment…The fun of it all, is to sign on and see if you are there. Plus if you tell, you will have way more people on then you want. JMO
not sure how much is involved but how about doing a question and answer thing like rosie. you pick the questions you want to answer and you only do it when you’re in the mood. and set a limit on the length of the questions or comments.
What the eff is aim? I thought it was just a toothpaste. I feel so dumb reading these blogs.
