I try not to walk around in public holding part of a dead animal, but that’s just me. Rock on with your turkey leg Brian! How much does that cost at Disney? $20 bucks? LOL.

OMG is right!
I usually get the dining package add on to the trip and we don’t snack at all in between means. I highly suggest that package if you ever stay in the disney resorts.

there’s no way a woman can gracefully walk around disney with a turkey leg. definitely a cave man thing!

Ok, I have had the turkey leg, but at Disneyland. I’ve had it at out local Fair and at a farmers market that is downtown during the summer. We have a great local, free range turkey farm called Willie Bird Turkeys and they are the ones that sell them. So yes, I had the leg but it’s been awhile….hmmm turkey leg…

Turkey legs? Yeah whenever a Truck Stop is selling ’em I grab one… Last one I had was at the Petro T/S Reddick, Fl I75 and Hwy 318 X368. On sale from $4 to $2.95… Hey maybe Florida has cornered the market on ’em.

The turkey legs are gross. We stood in line (inside) behind a family munching on turkey legs. Pieces of dropped meat were all over the floor from them. It was so tacky. No mannered way to eat them.
I hear the Dole whips at the parks are not to be missed.

Yes, Yes, Yes…they are wonderful. Everyone is walking around eating a turkey leg, you don’t feel the least bit out of place, it’s great!!! The flavor is awesome…not $20 though, I can’t remember, reasonable. I LOVE TURKEY!!!

Just got back from Disney during New Years….what a ripoff….didn’t eat a turkey leg but did taste a churro and every “specialty drink” at every country, spent $130 for breakfast with Jojo (for 4) and $285 for my two stepdaughters at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The place was packed. Tons of Europeans (not that I mind)….Couldn’t turn around without someone’s knee in your crack….just not what I had in mind for the most wonderful place on earth and hope we dont have to go back for at least 5 years. Next years Christmas gift for the girls I think we have decided on DC and do the museums. 🙂

I watched a show on how they made those turkey legs and they looked so yummy. So when we went to Disney, we bought one….and it tasted like HAM!!! So gross. Thankfully, the children we were with loved ham and they ate the whole thing. I agree with Liz…spend your money on the pineapple dole whip. Best thing ever!

I LOVE the turkey leg from Disney…I have a photo almost identical to this. Except mine has some crazy bird trying to attack me and steal the turkey leg. He probably thought I was ingesting a relative.
