we are looking for a summer intern…
here are the rules of eligibility.
1. candidate must be 18 years or older.
2. must be available to work from june 2nd through august 22nd. (i think!)
3. will not be paid
4. must be getting school credit for internship…sirius does not set that up…YOU DO!
fyi….it DOES NOT matter what your major is…and it can be college credit or graduate school credit or maybe even vocational school credit… ask your school if they are willing to credit you….if so then you are eligible (provided you meet all other criteria).
5. no transportation costs are reimbursed.

I would love to come and do your bitch-work for the summer. But honestly, living in New York for 3 months would probably cost more than my whole F–ing college education so far. Although, I might change my mind if I could live in the basement with Paulie.

Isn’t #3 and #6 the same – or do you repeat it because you fear interns don’t have the mental capacity to comprehend the lack of financial reward by reading it only once?

alexis and jennifer, if you guys don’t find someone by the deadline. let me know, I would be happy to come spend a week with you guys – happy to do scut work- would be a reprive from my otherwise crazy days- I work in medicine. Love to bake, workout, and shtup(w/hubby) – have lots of great stories to share , we can do exercise of the day(jennifer – we will put that grapevine move too shame. money not a problem, spending a week with you guys priceless! by the way, what is up with all the hate mail, lately…
Why so many negative comments? Not just regarding this post but throughout the Whatever blogs? It takes effort to come to the site and post a comment… don’t you remember that old saying ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all’?

Alexis and Jen- you guys do a great job! I don’t agree w/ 100% of what you say, but I don’t know 1 person I agree w/ 100%! Your show is very entertaining- you really don’t deserve the nasty comments you get sometimes in this blog. Don’t give the haters so much air time- for every mean blogger there are probably 4 content fans, people are just more apt to complain than to praise.

Don’t take it personal that you have only received one resume so far. Most college age students would never be able to afford all of the living expenses a summer in NYC would take. People who could afford it, and who would love to do it are more your age I think. That age group has been out of college for many years. Even so, I checked on it and both places I called said they could not give intern credit until the final semester. Just a thought.
I would love to Intern for you girls, that would be my dream. The experience alone would be worth not even getting paid. I just finished an internship and worked on a weekly radio show too. But Im graduating college in may, can I do an after college summer internship?
Take away the school credit aspect and it is exactly the same as my job…and I’m a MOM. I would love to do it.
does an applicant’s major need be communication/broadcasting, or specifically releated?

You should have the intern opportunity advertised on Howard!!! I joined Sirius for him, but got totally hooked on your show. I don’t think your show interferes with his lives shows, so it should work, right??? Seems like there’s quite a bit of crossover amongst fans.
