and unlike alexis, i made no purchase yesterday…but i am trying to get my engagement ring reset in this bulgari corona setting…bulgari doesn’t like to set diamonds that do not come from bulgari!
but i think it’s way cool…i want it in yellow gold. thoughts?

Setting is ok – I have seen cooler ones though – and why yellow gold?? Platinum or white gold at least look so much better. Have you tried looking at Tiffany’s settings? They have som really pretty ones.
Jennifer – NO! It looks bad enough in platinum. It would look even cheaper in yellow gold.

That is the exact setting (in 18K yellow) that I wanted for my girlfriend and was told the same thing. Ended up with something sort of similar but with 4 prongs that aren’t placed diagonally and she loves the sort of clunky look in the yellow gold.

i don’t wear platinum because my skin looks HORRIBLE in silver jewelry…and the jewelry in silver/platinum looks horrible on my skin! i am changing the setting because my ring is VERY dainty looking and frilly and so not my style…it’s way too formal for every day wearing… i’ll try to take a picture later.
Don’t care for the setting either. Very plain, dull. You can do much better elsewhere. No one will even know who the setting is made by.

Seriously–does anyone else notice that Jennifer’s mouth is hanging slightly open in every picture she takes? Even in smiling pictures. It looks so fake–is it on purpose?

Not digging the “new” setting either. That setting needs a HUGE ROCK to rock — which your diamond probably is. Shop around more.

Nice setting, but I’d definitely go with white gold. It yellows over time, so you’d end up with a golden one at some point.

If your diamond is perfect in color, then why would you taint it with a yellow gold band? Also, what is the point of wearing an engagement ring after you’re married…isn’t the wedding band enough? Yo, turn that shit into something crazy like a mayja nose ring or a sick-ass bindi.
You know, I’m not crazy about that setting either! It looks like something they’d give out at a Mary Kay convention. Definitely take a picture of your ring! I want to see it!

Your ring now is far nicer than the Bulgari. I get you wanting a thicker more prominent setting, but you can do so much better!

has anyone ever told you how big your forehead is?? You need bangs girl. Your snake skin overshadows your diamond, I think you should get a bigger diamond and not worry about the setting, it’s not big enough. Then when you have shiny forhead just hide it with that diamond, maybe people won’t notice the yucky skin. I listen to your show all the time and love it.
