for today, i am breathing a little easier…having some hope.
i plan to do the show today (from home…get over it)…and will (hopefully if i can get clearance!) be able to discuss a bit more what’s been going on.
i appreciate the well wishes more than you could know… and those who thought that alexis’ saying i had a "family emergency" last night was bullshit…can go SUCK IT! don’t you know i would be too superstitious to ever fake a family situation???!!!!

I’ve had many ups and downs over the years with illnesses from my parents…finding hope & a litle laughter, no matter how dismal the situation, makes the future possible. I don’t know what your situation is, but keep breathing & laughing!

Jennifer–I hope everything is better soon, I know that it must be serious because you would never miss a show. I can’t imagine what you would need “clearance” for on a family issue, but I will tune in and hopefully you will be able to share. And thank you for sharing, that is why we love the show! Yesterday’s show was hideous–I turned it off–but Alexis did try. I am a huge Alexis fan, but Chrissy ruined it for me. I didn’t realize how much I love you two together until you weren’t on! Can’t wait to hear you back today–from home or not.
I agree with everyone else. I turned the channel yesterday because Chrissy wouldn’t shut her mouth. I didn’t realize how much I enjoy the rapport between you and Alexis until you were gone.
Generally I enjoy Alexis’ venom the most but yesterday I really missed you Jennifer!!! You temper her and make it all work.

Anybody who is envious and bitter can and will say anything negative, what we can do is not allow them to get to us. They want to but we will can punish them, because they are ugly. Glad to hear you again, Jennifer! Even though you are stressed out you shine on the radio and you are truly the ANCHOR of this show! Alexis is the ship… can’t have one without the other (well, you CAN but…).
THAT SAID, seriously, if the show is now “Whatever with Alexis, Jennifer, Chrissy and Paulie” count me out. I can’t stand Paulie. And Chrissy.. meh. Sorry, but that’s the truth.

I’m sorry Chrissie, but I agree. Get rid of Chrissie. I’ve stopped listening because I find her voice so annoying. It’s Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer, not Whatever with Alexis, Jennifer and Chrissie! You two have great chemistry and it’s just not working at the moment. Two’s company three’s a crowd.
My goodness! This blog has so much negativity. Why must so many of you put others down (ie, Chrissy, Paulie, Jennifer, Alexis, etc)? Relax people, breathe, live, be positive and respect others!
Love you and missed you yesterday!! I’m confident that you’ll get through whatever is going and that it may even make you stronger. I’ve been through my share of family emrgenices – my 5 year old son just finished treatment for leukemia and is going strong. It was a shitty, long 2 years, but it is done and I know what is really important vs. what is crap. You are beautiful – wipe that negativity from your mind!

Are these blogs for real. Are people really this mean all the time? Jennifer why would you tell anything, and by the way Chrissy is great, So is Pauley. I think anyone who blogs in should give their height and weight, I have a feeling these people are sitting there downing a few diet cokes, as they eat 3 family sized bags of potato chips.
I love the show and the blog but I am so tired of people just being rude and mean. I understand if you dont like crissy or paulie or even alexis and jen but its just getting to be to much negativity and saying shit like “I dont like crissy and paulie” and “you need to get rid of them”, does hurt their feelings. If it were me in their shoes, I would be hurt. Its really just not needed.

Very glad you are back. Not to worry your listeners will understand when and if you can’t be there, but we will miss you. I know it has to be something big going on to keep you from your show, just know that we are here for you. Congrats to Alexis for going on without you and doing a great job!

I agree that some of the comments are way too negative. But listeners should be allowed to make some critical comments without being being shut down. I own a store, and if I hear a critical comment from a customer, you can be sure I am going to try and correct it–my customers are my lifeblood and are the reason I am in business! The Whatever show HAS changed, some would say for the better and some would say for the worse. But if so many people are not interested in hearing so much of Chrissy and Paulie, wouldn’t you rather find some median point for their “contributions” that would appease both sides, rather than losing listeners?
I don’t have to know details. Some things can be kept private. Hope it gets better.

You give such pleasure to everyone that listens to you – can only imagine the pleasure you give your family. It’s obvious you’re a very close family and your love for each other will give you all strength.
I heard Jennifer mention in passing re: pancreatic cancer, and I wanted to tell you about a physician I know well. Three years ago he was diagnosed in the spring; they said he would be dead before Christmas, and even hired his replacement for the practice… but lo and behold he is alive and kicking 3+ years later. Had some kind of clinical trial treatment, plus surgery, chemo, etc. He looks better now than he has in 10 years. I know it’s a crappy diagnosis, but keep the faith — because sometimes it comes out OK. Love you… take care.
I can’t believe people think Paulie and Chrissy are annoying. I love them! The show was definitely different without you, Jennifer, but it was still great. Glad you’re back today though. I’m sorry to hear about your family’s situation. My thoughts are with you. -Lisa
Jennifer, I heard about your mom today. She must be a wonderful person to have you for a daughter. Hug and kiss her every day and tell her you love her all the time. When I realized I wouldn’t always have my precious dad, I started doing that even more. I will pray for all of you as you go through this most difficult time. With love.

I just lot my mother to kidney cancer. Her diagnosis was in January and she died in May. So incredibly sad. I want to send my love and good wishes. You are fantastic, Jennifer.
