hi everyone!
for all of you who sent cards to my mom…i’m an idiot. i posted the wrong zipcode before below for north shore hospital in manhasset…(i’ve since corrected it see below it’s 11030)…so if i don’t thank you- it may because she didn’t receive your note!
however, my mother did receive this teddy bear from sandy in scottsdale today and she smiled…BIG. on the back of the bear it says "bunny warrior".
i feel like all your good thoughts and wishes are helping…i’m probably nuts but i don’t care!

Jen – You’re not nuts! Hopefully the wishes will help, medically, mentally, physically or maybe even miraculously. This time is about being who you are and being there with your family. You can feel, do, say or think WHATEVER you want, cause it helps you and helps those you love. You are strong, maybe not wiry/sharp-tongued/headstrong like Alexis, but strong nonetheless. Take care of your mother, she’s like no other, but also take care of yourself, for Keith and your children. My best wishes and thoughts to you, your dad, and all your family.

That bear/bunny is awesome!! 🙂

Jen – you are adorable. We love you and, of course, anyone special to you. We all want to help. Now that’s A Love Bunny! We all gotta “love some Bunny”! God Bless your Mom, Dad, you and the fam!

Jen, You are not nuts. The power of positive thought and prayer is immeasurable. It might not cure the cancer, but it will make the journey that much easier for your mom and your family. Continued prayers and positive thoughts are coming your way.
If you get a minute, please visit Sinjin’s site. His archived journals will show you the power of prayer and positive thought..https://www.caringbridge.org/cb/viewHome.do.

I am sending you my good thoughts and prayers. It really does help, Jennifer. I know it’s not cool or PC to have faith, but think of the alternative….. The person that suggested the Eckhart Tolle book to you is so right, please try it.

I’m so happy to read that you are positive and thinking of good thoughts about your mother. I try to do the same but I tend to be more negative at times especially when it comes to health. I’m an RN and have seen so much. Positive thoughts and thinking and a will to fight were those patients who did the best. I hope the best for your mom and want to let you know both my mother and I think and talk about you and her often. Last time we were in Dr. Wexler’s office, she blurts out “Doesn’t Pat(like she’s her best friend) know Bunny, you know Jennifer’s mother, real well?” I said yah ma, don’t say anything about her because they will think your’re an 80 year old stalker. Hi Jen – That made ME smile BIG. Nothing makes me happier than knowing it may have created ONE moment of happiness in Bunny’s day!! I’m happy I got to see the finished product too – SO GLAD the bear made it there! See you on line – from mediasandyd or Sandy/Scottsdale.

I mailed a card the other day after I chatted with you on AOL. I ll mail another one with the correct zip code. Your mother isn’t going to think I am stalker if she gets 2 cards from me, is she?
Robert says
Sent one before you told us of the postal code thing. I ll send another one!

My cousins baby was born with paralyzed vocal cords….had a tracheotomy a few days after birth and wasn’t supposed to breathe on her own well until after her first birthday. With Reiki, positive thoughts and probably good luck she was off the breathing tube before she was six months. Never underestimate the positive thoughts and supportive atmosphere……..we’ll all thinking these good, supportive thoughts for your mom.

Good to know you’re taking a moment now and then to relax and recharge. In so many ways you seem to enjoy life just like a kid- which is a real gift. It’s one of the reasons we love you so.
I always thought that those prayer chains in church were kind of corny, but maybe there’s something to that non-stop healing vibration. On the off chance, I’m keeping Bunny covered in the evening hours. Love to you and to your family.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers to your entire family.

Any book by Bernie Siegel will help you, your Mom, and your whole family. I’m so glad Alexis is taking care of you.

Get Eckert Tolles book on tape to listen to in the car when you are alone. He is quite profound, and it is soothing.

I never comment on blogs but I’ve grown fond of you and Alexis through your show. I know this sounds weird and I’m normally kinda skeptical, but you need to really listen to your gut. Based on my own experience and I don’t know how to say this without sounding really odd, goofy etc. — when my dad was in the hospital with cancer and pretty out of it, there was a kind of “vibe” or communication or something going on. I won’t bore you with the details of my story. I don’t think you can really explain it and if you ask some of the oncology nurses they will probably agree with me as the nurses I spoke to had some amazing stories. The strong connection with your mom is still there even if it can’t be communicated verbally — I don’t know what condition your mom is in right now. In any event, let go and do what feels right and (as an attorney myself – like you) suspend the logical thinking for awhile and don’t feel nuts for doing so. God bless.

God bless – hang in there Jen. I’m sending out positive thoughts and prayers are for you, your family and your mom.

the positive thoughts do help, if anything it’s nice to know people care. my dad was in the hospital 37 days suffering from kidney failure and what kept me going was all my friends and family offering support. this experience will make ypu stronger and someday you will help lift up a friend who needs you. that’s what it’s all about.

ps it’s hot as hell here too!

Jennifer,I listened to the show today and the main thing I got out of it was that you were still able to laugh and have a good time even with everything on your mind.Everyone is right about positive thoughts, its powers are incredible.

You’re neither retarded, nor an idiot. We all make mistakes from time to time, especially in such stressful times. You’re right about the power of intent. Since all living beings are connected on a quantumn level our very thoughts, & intent have the power to heal. Are you familiar with the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto & his water crystals? https://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/ephoto.html
If you think a print would cheer your mom up, contact me & let know what type of scenes, themes, subjects she’d like.
Best wishes to you & your family!!!~

Jennifer stay positive and strong. Go for a walk, listen to a song you like, take some deep breaths, talk to your closest family member. Focus only on what is important at this moment – your family. Everything else can wait. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

I am reading more and more about the benefits of a vegan diet for cancer patients. There is a really convincing book out there callled The China Study by someone Campbell. Thought this info may be of some interest to you -it may be worth checking out(of course talk to your mom’s doctor before doing anything drastic). Best of luck on the journey ahead. I will be sending my prayers and warm wishes to your mom and your whole family.

I just wanted to give my love, thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I am only 29, and lost my dad almost 3 years ago to kidney cancer. He had his pancreas removed, and I know what your mom is battling with. Spend every minute, telling her you love her, and she will get through this. I hope she is the lucky one to get though it, and luckier then my dad whom couldn’t make it through 4 months of a horrific battle.
Take Care, and hang in there! Again, give your mom my love! I love your show, and if it wasn’t for it…I would be miserable at work….!!!

Don’t you just love summer? The biting critters come from who knows where! My husband had to go to a fancy medical center for a 2nd opinion in May and they had those machines all over the center. I would LOVE to have one my house..aren’t they great? Best wishes to Bunny and you. I’ve been living with husband’s cancer here for several years and it is really a roller coaster ride!
