yep…the filtered ice cube/chips SO GREAT! i nursed an iced coffee for hours by refilling it with ice.
and then i came home… sat outside for a few minutes, went INSIDE and got attacked by something..
this is my shoulder.

Looks like the demon mosquito bite from hell…Hope your family is holding up well. Keep your chin up when you need to and collapse and cry on the friends you trust when that need arises. Life is such a hard process sometimes. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

I think you were bitten by the Lucky Charms lepracaun. That bite looks like a 4-leaf clover.

Looks like a mosquito bite. I got a bite like that last year and it was bigger than a quarter, even with my daily allergy meds. I ended up going to the doctor to have it looked at. I have never reacted in the past to a bug bite like that. I was afraid that might be a symptom of West Nile virus that is spread by mosquitoes here in Texas. It turned out that the bite size is due to the mosquito hitting a blood vessel. You’ll be fine. Put some cortisone cream on it and take a benadril.. It will shrink down in a few days.
Hope Bunny is doing better and getting stronger. Don’t worry about what she is eating, Whatever tastes good for her, feed it to her. If it’s suger, so be it.

Holy Crapola! Is it still swollen like that? Flies were out in force at the lake yesterday. I thought I was going to come out looking like that…
Jennifer, from a mosquito magnet here in Florida…get some “After Bite”. (drug store, Target has it) It’s a tube with some kind of amonia solution in it, but if you put it on as soon as something bites you, you’ll never get a bump. If you put it on when you do see the bump, it will stop the itching and get rid of the bump sooner. I buy them in the winter and keep for the summer; they can’t keep them in the stores down here!

This has nothing to do with your bite. We just found out a couple of weeks ago that my brother-in-law (my husband’s brother) has pancreatic cancer too which has spread into his liver and lungs. He lives in OK and we live in Houston, TX. Saw him last weekend and he looked pretty good even with all that. He started chemo last Monday. After seeing him we’re more optimistic than we had been. Hope things go well for your mom and your family. Everyone just has to band together as much as you can. P.S. My daughter’s name is Jennifer!
