Hey – what is the deal with the advertisement on the right side of your main page? – check it out for yourself https://www.whateverradio.com/website/home.php
It’s disturbing – Asian Girls for Love and Marriage – that sure doesn’t seem like the audience the advertisers should be targeting. At least try to get the sales folks to sell add space that has pictures of good looking guys. Seriously – you gals should have enough power on your site to change that advertiser’s location.
Was it ever said what the tv thing was that Alexis and Jennifer were taping? I have a new car with XM booo…In it. I listen online but miss some days! Please fill me in!
I don’t mind the re-runs. They make me laugh all over again! But I’m glad you’re back. You two are the high point of my day. Sometimes I even stay late at work just so I can listen to you on the way home. Total destressing!
I loved the show today…I’m a California “surferdude” from Malibu, and you mentioned all my old hangouts…yeah even the Ivy! And there is always a celeb or two when I’m there! Sounds like you guys had fun!
jennifer on most airlines you can listen to the pilots talking in the cockpit. Tune into Channel 9 on the planes entertainment system. Sometimes they turn it off or forget to turn it off and that is when your hear the really good stuff.
So glad you were live today. You are always missed when you are gone. And I LOVE when you two tell your “adventure” stories. A white mini van!?!?!? You have got to be kidding me. How tragic!
Missed some of the show so don’t know what started the conversation about cats, but you guys!!! I have 3 wonderful, sweet, loving cats. My house is clean, no peeing other than in the litter boxes downstairs. Sure, you have to keep those litterboxes clean, so it IS work, but if you give them the right conditions they are wonderful. I was always a one-cat house until last year when a friend of mine found 2 sister cats who were left at a kill shelter by family members when their owner died. They were 8 years old and might not have found a home. They are loving, funny and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Everyone in my family has cats and we all have very clean homes, a testament to the fact that if you handle it correctly the kitties won’t turn your home into a farm. Of course, I could not personally imagine going beyond 3, because it is a lot of work, and it’s just me and them. But dogs need a different amount of work, that’s all. They’re just different. Let’s hear from some cat lovers!
I lost my best friend’s mother to pancreatic cancer 20 years ago. Still miss her to this day, lost my father 3 years ago (on my sisters birthday) we struggled for a long time. Very cliche, but it does get easier as time goes Keep the faith your mother is with you in spirit and always will be. Loved her picture realy captued her spirit.
I’m glad you are back live again, but I think the show is much better when Jennifer is actually in-studio with Alexis. It’s always funnier for some reason.
I am so glad you are back!!!! It is just not the same hearing the re-runs! Keep your head up and keep laughing, (your laugh is great!) You guys crack me up!
My husband and I have cats. He used to hate cats, and now he couldn’t live without them any more than I could. We used to live in an area where people would drop them off all of the time. We had 6 cats at one point. That was way too many, but we couldn’t find homes for them so we took them in. They all lived an average of 18 yrs., one lived to be 23 yrs. old. There was only one that wasn’t all that friendly, but we made it work. Now we only have two. They were strays also. One is a Bengal, and he is totally different than any cat we’ve had. They are extremely intelligent, and unlike any animal I’ve encountered. I think you just have to understand them. I’ve never been attacked, or seriously scratched, and our house is always clean. I guess it depends on the cat, but they really can be wonderful!
Loved your show yesterday…what I heard of it….it was a real crazy day. Hope you repeat it this week-end. I’ll be on a really long road trip. You guys always make it so much better.
Sorry to hear about your loss! Your mother was beautiful! Love the picture of the two of your in the Gallery section – when you look like you are 2-3 years old! She was a stunner!
Jennifer, Can you post a picture of the scarf someone made for you? As a knitter and cancer survivor, I would love to see a picture. Love the show, and totally love the two of you.
So good to hear the two of you laughing together and being the two nuts that you both are. Thanks for being on the air, makes me laugh too, all alone in my car looking like a nut I am sure to everyone next to me at the traffic light. 🙂
Jennifer, I lost someone. I got lots of advice some good some bad. In the end, it takes time to come to grips and to find a way to look ahead and not back.
For a while you will only be able to look back or maybe just frozen right now in the loss and sadness of this very moment. I wish you well. One day, someday, you will realize that you are honestly looking forward to seeing your mom again and it will feel so good and comforting. I want to recommend a book to you. I am a reader and of all of the books that I read (some a horrible waste of time) about the hurt and loss when someone we so dearly love dies, this one is incredibly and wonderfully dear and meaningful. Called: TO BEGIN AGAIN, by Naomi Levy. I think it is a book anyone could benefit from, because we are all often beginning again after some sort of life altering change or loss. I won’t assume but if you give it a try, I hope so. Take Care.
I agree with Jo, and was thinking the same thing but never thought to mention it. The show is great all the time, but it seems to have more spice when Jennifer is in the studio vs. being at home. Though I totally understand why Jennifer has been doing the show from home for the past few months, i’m amazed and proud of you for keeping it going through your moms illness. One question…what kind of meeting were in LA? Anything to do with the double secret show you were working on 2 months ago?
I thought I’d be happy to have you back…you have gotten meaner Jennifer…the way you treat the people who call in isn’t as sweet as it used to be. You hang up quickly and then you make fun of them…not very nice. I wanted to call in…but hell, who needs to be treated like that? Remember when you weren’t feeling so good about yourself…yeah, well other people feel that way.
Try to remember that.
