one of our listeners kevin tseng sent this card to me.
been meaning to post it.
he’s an illustrator but the message of this card is just as perfect as the illustrations.
and really describes beautifully what grieving feels like. (i know the picture is a little blurry- i need some photography lessons!)
weekends are good- no pressure to have a personality.

Hey Jennifer, I checked out kevins tseng website and his artwork is beautiful. Do you know if any of the artwork on his site can be purchased? Thankyou for sharing, is artwork is fantastic.
Simple and beautiful.
HiJennifer, I like the card, the timing
of the filming of the tv show sure was
not great. I don’t listen to you two
but love the blog and look forward to
seeing you on tv. I love how you express
yourself and wish you a good weekend
with no pressure at all. take care.
That card says it all, nicely put.
Jennifer, I think card says it all. That is a great way to express everything. Sometimes simple is the best.
(((Jennifer))) Have a restful weekend.
Thats about as well as it can be described. He has to be a smart and tallented guy.
god, this is so much better then that scarf!
perfect. tell the guy he should sell that one to a major card company. so many cards just don’t get it, this one does.
You seem the be at the stage where you’re realizing that they’re gone and they won’t ever be back. I’ve been there, not much one can say, only it will get better and it will get easier.
this says it all, jennifer. one day, out of nowhere, you will be okay; later, you will be happy again. all in time. (((hugs)))
Very nice card and oh so true…
Hey J,
The card is fantastic, love the simplicity. We’ve all been victims of auto focus at one time. Try experimenting with the maco setting & focus lock for a sharper image.

Enjoy your weekend!~

So simple and spot on.
Jennifer,
Please don’t ever change. You are adorable and sweet and your face is perfect. I love when you sing (and oddly, I love when Howard sings, too???!!) I want to tell Alexis to leave her face alone. All she needs to do is SMILE and she’d look pretty, but she’s morphing into something really strange. Anyway, I do love you both and wish some day to meet you or even be in the audience of your show.

That card is the best “sympathy” card I’ve ever seen. It is spot on and needs to be copyrighted and sold to Hallmark!
Jennifer,
I am six months ahead of you in the grieving process having lost my 66-year-old mother to cancer as well. Try not to be frustrated (or too concerned) that the grieving process is taking longer than you might have expected. I, too, feel EXACTLY the way you do about EVERYTHING. Especially the BEING DONE WITH IT part. They were too young and it was too soon to lose a mom. All of the things that should still be shared… I think it’s just going to take awhile. (Oh, and you will feel her again – I promise – and it’s great. They just need time to settle in a bit.)
