Thank you for posting something new. And good for you for saying “no” to chocolate. Years ago, this guy told me (his dad worked in a chocolate factory in Chgo) that RATS jump in the vats of chocolate. Ever since then, I can’t eat it. I can bake with it, I just can’t eat it. Sometimes it takes something gross to stop!

you know there were certain days called feast days celebrated by people of long ago. No doubt eating anything other than gruel day in and day out was something of a feast. Back then celebrating with food was well, no doubt tied to the season’s bounty. I digress, so ,My idea get
out and do something to celebrate the /a holiday– go somewhere — We went to an exhibition of photographs of the Everglades by Clyde Butcher and Jeff Ripple— even though it was raining we went out.

Happy Valentine’s Day Jennifer. They say if you don’t eat chocolate for a long time you won’t crave it!!! My son got married on Saturday so it was a great Valentine’s Day for us. 🙂

joann- This link might calm your fears about tainted foods: >>https://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/13/opinion/13levy.html?_r=1&emc=eta1 << OR make them MUCH worse. I believe that anyone who has worked in a kitchen or a food processing plant has seen this and probably worse. (article from NYTimes Feb 12th)
