lori says
no, we don’t get snow where we are in Ca. Enjoy your day of anticipation!
Sybil says
Yes!!! I am an empty nester now, but I use to LOVE snow days. While most other moms hated them (kids home from school) I would prepare like you. Hot chocolate, snowmen, snowangels. snow ball fights….. How I miss those days.

Snow? Live in Arizona, no snow!
Asher says
We even got a tiny bit of snow down here in Mississippi!
kathy mcc says
We do the same thing for hurricanes – except it’s hot and we gather water instead of firewood. Have a fun day!
Emmy says
I love preparing for snow storms in Texas – that’s once every five years or so. So you will be doing the show from home? How nice!
So the Bunn you bought is more commercial right? I bet it keeps the coffee really super hot.
Enjoy the spring snow!
Erica D. says
Man, I miss that! I’m a Michigander living in South Texas. I love shoveling snow too. (I’m serious!) Just don’t like driving in it.
Sarah N. says
So I assume you thorouhly recommend that coffee maker. What about it sold you?
Kelley says
I live in Michigan and we have had over 100+ inches of snow this season, glad it is heading your way this time.
Enjoy!!!!
Very Gay Mike in Boston says
We’re prepaing in Boston for blizzard-like conditions. Just like NY. We love it and hate it. The cozy, cozy, cozy part is fun, though. The grocery store was NUTS? Jennifer, are you baking? PS- I kind of have a crush on KS.
ballerinatoes says
I love cozying in for A Snow Day. Instead, we usually get An Ice Storm. Which equals no electricity and me losing my marbles. You’re not failing at twitter! I’m following you! And I never post, I just follow. So I’m the failer. Have you seen the “fail whale” message? It’s the cutest darn “our site is ef’d up” message I’ve ever seen.
CKNJ says
We are excited too! Our puppy Honey ( a cockapoo) loves
it! We brought firewood in, are in our sweats and thinking what we can eat for dinner! Enjoy…..snow is magical I think!
My favorite part is the early am when it is quiet.. ..snowing and everything is glistening……….
Have Fun…..C

I loved the first BIG SNOW DAY, living here in Pittsburgh we have had quite a few so I’m over it. Of course my daughter (17) loves them because school is either delayed or canceled. Waiting for SPRING.
Tracy says
I get excited for the snow too. I love a big storm and the coziness that comes along with it. I have been in my pj’s all day and can’t wait to get up in the am to a big cozy blanket of new fallen snow.
Stacy in Pa. says
Hey Arlene, I am in sixburgh too. We have had sooo much snow this winter! It felt almost warm today as we went to the Southside Works for lunch we didn’t wear coats, only a wrap. I was FREEZING!!! Please spring SPRING!! Glad you look forward to it Jennifer, more time to snuggle the kiddo’s huh. Guess you will broadcast from home?
Arlene says
Stacy in Pa. said – It is a small world!!! Stacy. Just to see the sun in Pittsburgh everyone thinks its warm out there. Don’t you just luv Jennifer and Alexis blog.
Doug says
Ehh you’re supposed to get a foot of snow, piece of cake. I’m sure you’ll make it to work by 5 for the show. I’m betting Howard Stern makes it in. We’ll see though! Enjoy!
kim in texas says
Rarely snows in TX. but when we do get it the city is paralyzed. my son is in NYC and luckily not working tomorrow i called and he assured me (his dorky mom) that he would manage. food in the pantry and plenty of water, juice etc..
Frances J in Alabama says
It snowed in Alabama, wonder of wonders! A few inches, really pretty and then gone by 2 PM. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Hopefully spring is just around the corner. Enjoy your snow day and the coziness of nesting. I always go crazy cooking in anticipation of snow!
Luann says
Not thrilled with another snow day. I love having the kids home but it means shoveling my long driveway, again. We have to make up school snow days. Too hot to be going late in June with no a/c. Enjoy your snow day!
Tricia (OH) says
Always anticipate snow, lots of it, early & mid season. It’s been so cold this year in OH, I’m ready for Spring. The crocus & daffodils poking thru. :o)
I don’t know if Twitter is the wave of the future. And maybe it’s our age (39/40), but I’m all Facebook & Myspace’d out. Or as the guys here @ work say . . . “Myface”.
Mary Ellen says
You must not have gotten enough snow this year Jennifer. In Cleveland, we had record snow and I used my new snowblower four times. Enough’s enough, no more snow!!! Why would you look forward to that kind of mess?!? Unless you are just giving in to it knowiong you do not have to drive to work and do not have to shovel or plow. My company is HQ in Minnesota and we have NEVER closed for snow. Last year we got two fee of snow on March 7th and 8th, it was NOT a fun weekend, you can have that *fun* this year!!!
