day one of vacation i went to a surprise party for my friend lisa.
and i DRANK!
it was some grapefruit and vodka concoction!
and then after a while here’s what was left of the drink.
and all day yesterday i felt so crappy!!!
today i’m (just about) back to myself.
going to take a zumba class soon.

I think you had a ‘Greyhound’. That’s a mix of vodka and grapefruit. You can’t taste the vodka. It can really creep up on you!
Hope the party for Lisa truly was a surprise. It’s so wonderful when you can pull that off. Hubby had a surprise 40th for me Saturday. Didn’t see it coming! I was surrounded by so many wonderful friends & most importantly my son came home from college for it! B-day isn’t til the 16th so I wasn’t even thinking about it. The hubby went to great lengths planning the event with catering & bringing my ’66 Mustang home from being painted (long time project, very long story). I feel so loved today! Hope you enjoyed yourself! Oh, and never mind that Heidi, what does she know. :o)
Anyone who thinks you care more about drinking than your kids, does not listen to the show! LOL!

I enjoy the show, it’s a fun listen on the way home. I wish Sirius hadn’t changed the online feature, so I can’t get it on my computer anymore without an additional fee. (sorry, had to cheapen out on that one – already paying for it for the car.)

Hope you have a great vacation. My favorite place in T&C is Parrott Cay. We go at least once a year. They have the same people working year to year but it’s not a place, I don’t think for children. Miss you, although, I must admit…I am doing errands and “normal life stuff” this week after work because you guys are on vacation. Not that I don’t enjoy the repeat shows, but it’s easier to get things done. Normally, I schedule my 5:00-7:00 hours around your show. Ha ha! It’s meant to be a complement, although it might not sound it!
Jennifer! You ARE looking quite thin. Take those complements and believe them in your heart. You are to hard on yourself. One day you will catch your own reflection and think who is that? with you guys being out my son got to see the studio, fishbowl and passed Barbara Walters with Micheal Cain in the hallway. The band used a studio in the Stern complex area. So he had to walk through their area to get to the cafeteria and got to see Arte, Robin and Gary in the hall. He had fun. If you guys were there Miley would have stopped in BTW. The band is off to Tennessee then back to LA. They are doing the new movie promotion. DO you know where Martha is going for passover dinner? She said she was having it at a some friends, yours? I am making the brisket from her web site. Happy holidays.

Yep I’m probably the only Jewish/Irish Catholic person around so I feel your pain with the burn. ICK! Okay and I feel your pain with the drink. I have been drinking way too much since the lay offs and the vodka concoction just makes me want to puke. At any rate hope you’re having fun. I’m going on my vacation next week but will still try to listen as much as I can. I miss you guys. Are you, Keithy and the kids having a blast? I’m going to take my son swimming and on the plane for the first time next week. Also upon you and Alexis’ recommendation got seat 1A especially with a toddler. It will be interesting.

Call me naive, but what exactly is Zumba? They offer at the local Lululemon (exercise wear store), but haven’t tried it.
