Hi,
I am tending bar at Shorty’s .32 on Prince Street from around 7 until
closing tonight. My sister, the radio host Jennifer Koppelman Hutt, is
also going to be behind the bar. Not sure if our other sister, Stacy,
is going to show. But if she does, you should really come, cause it’s a
big deal to get her out and into the city at night. We are raising
money to fight pancreatic cancer which, as many of you know, took our
mother. All tips and the cash from a raffle go to the charity. Great
joint. Great cause. Come by if you can. And mock me for how lame I am
at pouring a good drink.
if you can’t make it tonight, (and you have not already given–as many
of you have) please consider donating to the Lustgarten Foundation’s
walk for the cure. We are walking this Sunday in honor of our mom. You
can find the link here: https://www.lustgarten.org/

This is the kind of thing that separates those who lose their mother to cancer and (understandably) feel sad from those that lose their mother to cancer and want to fight back so other people may not have to lose their mother to cancer. Cheers too your family and God Bless!!!!

Hope the event raised lots of $. I know these activities can be more than bittersweet, but anyone who has lost a loved one to pancreatic cancer knows how important the research can be. We lost my father-in-law on April 13th to this horrible disease.
