First, I thought you were going to play it in A-minor. I was sitting there waiting. Then I heard the F note. And I was like what? The F? How you going to drop the F note on this? But you did it.
Yay! I am one of those people who only sees your blog and doesn’t get to listen to your awesome show! I used to get the online radio at work but not anymore- now am a typical, poor college student who can’t justify paying for it- until I graduate that is! Love your show, you ladies are too funny! (p.s. I am suppose to be studying for a final but am looking at your stuff instead…. if I fail I’ll blame you two)
You should totally organize a recorder flash mob performance at Rockefeller Center. Can’t you just see a 1000+ people on the ice rink skating, suddenly stopping, whipping out sparkle recorders for an impromptu concert of Do Re Mi?
am about to go to work – to a series of long, boring meetings and thought i’d check your blog as a welcome distraction….. the video made me laugh and reminded me how important it is to be silly and genuine 🙂 thanks jennifer! happy hannukah!
Jennifer you made my morning. Yes I’m another drop out too, of the recorder.I played it for 6 years, and all I could teach my grandchildren, is the song you just played and “go tell aunt roadie.” Why do parents torture the kids with the recorder?
Jennifer- i never laughed so hard while driving the other day when you were playing and trying to figure out songs! You are SOOO funny! We had “flutophones” by the way- they were white and red- really ugly!
Loved it! I had a “floutaphone” in 6th grade. Happy you wore a fitted shirt! Burn the baggie clothes for the new year, be proud to have curves and be fit. You are so adorable. Love that you are so…YOU!
Great Job! That was fantastic and funny especially since my bulldog, Junior, loved it!!! He hardly ever takes notice of my computer screen, but your playing really got his attention. He had the full head tilt thing going on and he was watching you very intently! haha
Jennifer you’re great! You make me smile and laugh, and you’re one hell of a recorder player. Drove by Espresso Pizza yesterday and thought of you…I wish I could send you a slice. Be well, I know this is a hard time of year for you.
Jennifer,
That pink sparkly recorder is cute! I’m a big pink fan but more like mauve/earthy paie pink than the hot barbie pink. Still, love the recorder!
My son copied his older cousin that takes lessons and wanted a recorder so bad that we got him one and now he goes around playing it constantly! (eyes rolling) It’s cute but a bit much! Somewhere he learned how to march his legs and dance while he plays and he’s not even 2 yet.
i have to admit, i thought i was going to hate this video of you showing us your gift, but it was actually pretty cute. It’s a useful gift too. You can now draw all the rats outta Long Island! BTW heidi, you’re a cunt 🙂
