in studio yesterday, alexis brought a delicious cake that she baked (see her blog!) it is so cold in the studio that i’m wearing a dress, a cardigan and my velvet coat which makes me look like a wizard. oh and an (awesome) purple tiara from paulie.
alexis’s gift to me was "the gift of longevity"- well that’s what i’m calling it! she gave me the necessary vitamins/supplements to take along with dosage amounts… plus two amazingly clear (and pretty) mirrors (uses: chin hairs etc).
tomorrow, some of my friends will take exercise class with me in the morning. and then we will have a mellow day. no party. yay.

Happy, Happy Birthday, Jennifer. Looking back, don’t ask how far, I have to say that the 40’s were my very best years. Kids had gotten older, I enjoyed jogging and/or walking a couple of miles a day, took college courses in photography, got divorced and found a temporary lover…..not suggesting that you should embark on those last two. But I think it takes that long to REALLY know and accept who you are.

First Off… I have to say, you share a birthday with my Oldest Younger Brother. He will be 56 on 2/7. On the other hand, at age 40 ( I am so VERY…VERY Jealous) you look Wonderful. Happy Bday Jennifer – I turned 51 yesterday…..THIS is the year I will get a colonoscopy! Whoohoo! I CANNOT believe the 2 of you did this before you had to!!!And I didn’t really start seeing chin hairs until around 48! When my 17 year old daughter LOVED to point them out for me…..thank god she did – they were awful!
