I just made a connection –
Watching “Bethenny Getting Married” last week, Hoda was a guest – B. said they have been friends for a long time.
Perhaps Hoda knows or heard you have made ‘disparaging’ remarks about B. in the past.
….just a thought..
i can’t even remember what Hoda said, but I do recall I had a reaction like – WTF??
You ladies looked fabulous! I LOVE the longer, softer hair on Alexis. Jennifer, you are just lovely and all the dance classes and healthier lifestyle changes you’ve made have enhanced your beauty. Your comments on the issue seemed well-thought-out. As a parent, it’s hard to just sit back when someone else’s child is doing something dangerous or cruel to another child. If I feel the need to say something, it’s always as nicely as possible – even if the kid doesn’t listen, then the parent may step in. Sometimes we’re not fully paying attention to our kids (Shocker!) and may not notice what they are doing. It’s nice when other parents help out a little without being rude about it. I found it interesting to hear Alexis’ opinons on the subject, as someone who is not yet a parent. There is definitely a fine line when it’s a stranger’s child who you want to “discipline”. Although, if it’s a friend’s child, or a relative, it’s a little easier because you love the kid and your caring about their actions comes from that.
Enough rambling…well done ladies. Hoda is a dingbat…
Who’s the stand-in total goober co host? I know he says he’s married, but I was sensing all kindsa gay comin off that guy! Very perched on the stool, crossed legs and actin just one of the girls. Jus sayin!
Oh wait a minute — these people live in the state blue— where their member of the senate wrote a boo k It takes a village to raise a child. Weird segment but you guys were great. I agree with Cecelia—duh. You’re not on the show as parenting experts–you’re there to promote YOUR show. Good for you, getting that in there.
Hoda+Kathy Lee=hot mess. That dude was much better.
Jennifer, your stage presence has improved so much! I remember the first time on “Martha” when you were nervously scribbling in a notebook and could barely look at the camera or audience during your segment. And now look at you! Awesome.
Great bit…Jenn I wish you would have shared your “i tug on their ears” or whatever that was you said you used to do when your kids acted up. Maybe it was that you sort of pinched them? I dont know it was great benign mothering. Glad you added the Hallmark plug as I am sure you picked up a lot of future viewers with that sound bite.
I don’t watch Hoda and Kathy often. I suppose that could just be her sense of humor. I do remember seeing a clip from the Today show when Hoda & Kathy were talking about the SNL skit that mocks them featuring Kristen Wigg and Jenny Slate. They really couldn’t take the joke. They seemed offended and annoyed. At least the ladies from The View can laugh at themselves. They seem to love SNL View skits.
Jennifer looks gorgeous and Alexis’s hairstyle is the prettiest I’ve seen on her. It’s great to see these nice, talented women enjoying the success they deserve.
You guys do look great – Jennifer, you are truly gaining more admiration than your sourpuss partner, I think you should start your own show!!! We love the upbeat Jen – not the woe is me Alexis. GAG
LF is for freaking KIDS Jennifer, not 40 year olds. Check out the first line on their about page: “Geared towards girls who dare to be different” Really? Are you a GIRL???Reality check time.

Didn’t like Hoda’s remark after you mentioned you would be on the Hallmark station in the fall.
Jen says
You both look lovely! So well-spoken, too.
Jules says
So poised and beautiful you both are. You keep getting better and better. Love you both!

I agree with Cecelia – that was a rude comment Hoda made at the end.

It’s amazing what a different tone the show takes without KL there.

At least Kathy Lee would not have been so rude. Hoda pretty much gets away with saying anything she wants to. Anyway, you guys looked great. Nice job!

Agree with the Hoda comment about Hallmark, but she will get over it! ha!
