i just don’t get it.
i’ve never been the nasty sort. snarky, sure. sarcastic? you betcha. but nasty just because…nope.
and people are coming to this website, my website, to put mean things in the chat box. i don’t understand why.
whether you like or me, or you don’t… that’s cool since we don’t ever have to interact. infact,
i would think if you don’t like me, have no interest in what i have to do/say then you’d keep yourself as far away from my site as possible.
there’s loads on the internet that is way more entertaining i would think/hope than coming to some short red headed girl you dislike’s website and being a punk. yeah, i called you (whoever you are!) a punk.
i would love to be the type of person who doesn’t care about meanness…but i am not. i am sensitive. and hyper emotional. and i do care.
but i care more about the people who come here and are kind… i am so thankful to you.
and you’re the reason i have the chat.
i LOVE interacting with you. and i will do my best to not let the few who are trying to make it not fun ruin our good time. i’ll delete the unnecessary mean statements that refer to anyone other than me, and ill delete some of the more insane ones about me. and the others…well, chat is an open forum (at least for now) so ill just deal.
ahhh… i feel better now.

So what’s the deal with Lululemon? It looks like their stuff is cute, but that the store you go to is full of rudeness! I like Lucy. Their stuff is so comfy and the staffs are so nice and helpful. Personally, if the staff is rude, I don’t want to give them my money.
Jenny says
sometimes the people in the store ARE nasty…right?! weird. but i like the tops a lot. soooo…i buy em anyway.
KimC says
Jenn, love you! Block the bullies! You’re super sweet. I hope you don’t dwell on the meanness!!!
Emma says
There are just too many lonely, miserable people in the world who take out their self-loathing by leaving hostile remarks on the internet. I think this is a problem that’s only going to grow worse as the planet’s population swells and individuals feel increasingly powerless and insignificant.
It’s gotten to the point where I have to stop myself from reading internet comments of any kind (especially those made on Youtube) because the anger and frustration being expressed by people vainly attempting to alleviate their pain by inflicting it on others is too ugly and depressing.
KimC says
Love you Jenn. Just block the mean people!
Jo says
J- I never understood why haters feel the need to say nasty things on peoples site either :(..there’s still a bunch of us out here that think ur the bee’s knees. Now go get down with your bad self!
Jenny says
thank you jo!
Jen says
That’s ridiculous. Sorry this is happening. I would probably want to just go sit in the fetal position and cry.
Jenny says
haha! ive cried plenty. but not today. thankfully.

Jenn, hope this isnt too personal but do u have excess skin or was it taken care of by exercising? I’m overweight but in a way I don’t want to lose it if I will have to have skin surgery which I hear is very painful & expensive.
Jenny says
not too personal!!! my belly is a little weird.. but many who’ve been pregnant have weird tummies… it does NOT show in clothing. i would like a tummy tuck. but i dont think ill get one any time soon… the rest of me thnk gd is good. if you don’t feel great the way you are then work to be the best you that you can be! dont worry about the skin issue.
Angie [A Whole Lot of Nothing] says
Haters gonna hate, so ignore them.
Though, I’m the same way when a troll writes something bad about me. It feels personal because they use personal attacks. All you can do is try to ignore them.
Or, if you’re feeling especially feisty, respond to them with a swift throat-punch through the internet.
Jenny says
thanks angie!! angie has a cool blog people..check it out!
Angie [A Whole Lot of Nothing] says
Thanks! I DO have a cool blog! It’s just lonely today…
Jenny says
haha. i am always feeling THAT way.
Phil says
Love you Jennifer! Don’t let it get to you.
Also love the pic of you looking pissed off and stern. I’ve always been attracted to bitchy women, and that pic personifies hot/bitchy. It makes me feel funny in my pants.
cassandra says
i saw the mean one that i think you’re referring to…. people are idiotic and jealous… that’s basically what it boils down to. the internet is a great place but it is also a place for cowards and creeps to attempt to shut other *good* people down. kill the cows!
Jenny says
there were others i deleted cassandra… yeah, it is ok!!! xo.

OH stop! A blog brings negative and positive comments. Get over it. It is called constructive criticism. Maybe if you didnt have a big mouth and weren’t complaining all the time you would get the negative feedback! Love ya! Dot.
Jenny says
happy to have constructive criticism it is the adhominin attacks i dont like…and nastiness about others i dont think is right…
Harry says
Agreed – get over it! Sometimes people suck, and sometimes the truth hurts. Either way you are going to have to grow some thicker skin if you want to become a celebrity – if you reach public figure status, people can flat out mock you and it is within legal rights.
BostonLisa says
um…both of you are a little harsh dontcha think…honesty and getting your point across is one thing but the way you are both making your case is what I personally think is rude…..unless you both “personally” know her calling her a “big mouth”…..telling her to “get over it”…..go away! it’s her website and she can type..blog “whatever” the hell she wants too and if you don’t like it…LEAVE!
Dvegas says
There’s a big difference between constructive criticism, or even harsh character attacks, and outright disgusting hateful abusive venom. Some people say some really evil stuff on the Internet. I totally support you deleting some of the comments on here. You can’t prevent people from being disgusting, but you can contain the spread of their filth.

Hi Jennifer, nice website very cute!! I just read your fb entry re the mean people I don’t know what was written etc.. and don’t care I just never ever will understand why people think that because we have the internet and the ability to post opinions it gives them free licence to be mean. Sure an opinion on a topic is fine, you might disagree with something – air your thoughts, but to be rude and cruel on a personal level shows an immense lack in character. I am positive all these fools wouldn’t have the courage to say one iota of what they say in person. Also I will never understand people who obviously don’t have an interest or just don’t like someone/something and yet log onto their website/fb page etc… and go hell for leather!! Why bother? Can I say when I became your ‘friend’ on FB a couple of years ago and we were chatting on live chat you were very sweet to me when I asked you for suggestions of where I could take my then 9 yo son whilst in NYC!! You were kind and thoughtful and the best bit we did everything you suggested ie. Peanut Butter & Co, Yankee Game, Museum of American History and each one offered something fabulous ….. I did post a thanks but I will take this opp to say it again Thank you xo Stefania (Sydney, Australia)

Hi Jenny!!!
We chatted a little a few weeks ago about your smart nephew and hopes for my nephew.
U know what to do for the mean people out there u encounter online just push that delete button and forget them (or fuck you as the song goes)
You are a smart and beautiful person. Just think how awful the people who are mean and say bad things must feel inside to make them want to hate on anyone especially someone like you – happy and kind.
I LUV YOUR WEBSITE AND I GET IT!!!
Smile today for those of us who actually luv you a lot!!!
XOXO
