some days i wake up not even kind of raring to go…that was today. tight back, heavy head… oh! maybe that’s because last night i woke up and snacked in the middle of the night!!!
got past the shame by skulking around my house all morning and then got on the treadmill. needed that! moving my body changes everything for me. takes gloom and makes it, well, less gloomy! (especially attempting to do karaoke on the treadmill. talk about a good time!) (p.s. for some reason the tracking is off on my video…anyone know why/how to fix in quicktime?! arggghhh)

i’ve also just about had it with adult onset acne. why i need to get an under grounder on my chin at 41 years old is beyond me… it is tough enough to be aging without the one annoying pimple that shows up at an inconvenient time (then again, would any time be convenient?)
and here i am in my pjs. please notice the highwaisted pant with shirt tucked in. keith is a lucky guy huh?! ( i am willing to get naked too but then i get COLD!!!!!)
last night on the show, dr. jenn berman from cosmo radio and i discussed some women’s erotica books by lauren dane and nancy friday. check them out if you are looking to get super sexed up and really, who isnt.
i am going to make a list of not dirty books i’ve been reading too- in hopes that you’ll share what you’re reading.
and i am going to read jennifer weiner’s new book next!
also, signed up for spotify today!!! it is a music sharing service that is supposedly awesome- my username is: jennyhutt (i posted an itunes playlist in earlier blog post) i do love my music and feel like if i were single, id be making playlists for every crush! (i was a crazy mixed tape creator as a teen!)
and here i am blogging on my couch…just now. cozy.
i leave tomorrow morning for the canyon ranch (with my friends..can’t wait!)
back on the air live tuesday…and yes, i will have ALL of my technological gadgets with me because i do NOT like to disconnect.
if you have karaoke requests or questions for tales from the treadmill please leave them here.

I’m 42 and I totally sympathize with the acne. What the hell?! And I’m freezing to death at night. I go to bed with flannel pjs on (it’s 100 degrees out and the a/c is on) and sometimes even socks! I can hardly believe there was a time (before kid) that I wore nothing! Mind if I ask what kind of wrap you’re wearing? It’s so much nicer and a lot less dorky than the snuggie my husband gave me.
Jenny says
darcie!! it is not a wrap…it is an old sirius blanket… i threw it over my exercise clothes…haha. i wear socks too. oy.

You look super cute and about twelve years old (with your braids) on the treadmill! Please share what you’re reading! Just finished Bronze Horseman and loved it. I am at present reading The Elegance if the Hedgehog, Muriel Barbery which is delightful. Have a great trip!

That was the perfect topping to a great day! You made me smile…love the spoken word part. I also relate to the acne and love the description of the under grounder. Got one on my cheek this a.m.
Jenny says
yay!

Just wondering….how the heck are you keeping your laptop on the treadmill? I always wondered how you recorded the tales from the treadmill!
Jenny says
I use a “surf shelf”. Google it. Got it from amazon.
Ms Elso says
Pahaaa! You actually did it..AND it sounded pretty damn good!
Jenny says
haha!!! tell all of your friends!!! i will do more. it was fun. i can do better. i think i can. i think i can. i think i can!
Ms Elso says
Do you think Charlene yelled “FUCK!” too when she did it? I do!
(You should sing it on CNN)
Lisa Welchel says
Hi
I assumed you were a bad singer cause you said you were, but now I think you are not bad. When you hit those hi notes on Never Been i was for the first time impressed. You also made me laugh for the first time watching your videos when you did the spoken word part.
My only critique is that everything should be in moderation, including exercise. You don’t want MVS* do you? *( Madonna Vein Syndrome)

Not Lisa Welchel says
Hi jennifer,
I know, I’m not blair. But I knew you would know who Lisa was. Say, maybe you could sing that one oldie, “I’m not Lisa” ? 🙂
Anyways, here’s another oldie I know you will love. I’ve seen your playlist and I think I know your taste to a ‘T’.
Here’s a long-distance dedication to your new ‘crazy’ blog:
