Hi Jenny Hutt, just started Diane Keaton’s autobiography Then Again. A fun read which explores the influence her mother, Dorothy, had on her life and perspective. Keaton also talks about her relationships with fellow actors Warren Beatty, Woody Allen and others. There’s some good gossip!

I am finishing up reading misc magazine articles that I’ve been saving. Next is a book called The Art of Small Talk and something about easy conversation. Sometimes in social environments I shut down and don’t feel like chatting, hoping these books might help.

I am finally starting the Hunger Games today…

Almost finished with The Paris Wife. Next up will be Buddha by Deepak Choprah, Before I Go To Sleep and Bringing Home the Birkin.

Let me know how you like Bringing Home The Birkin – sounds interesting. P.S. If you want to feel good about yourself, check out pictures of Jane Birkin in her prime forty years ago – and now. Even supermodels don’t always age gracefully.

Went to justjenny to check out what you’ve been reading lately because, like you, I loved The Bronze Horseman and figured we share similar tastes in books. Loved Whateverland by the way. I highly recommend Fall of Giants by Ken Follett – amazing! Also, if you haven’t already, read The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. I keep a log of books I’ve read because I read so much I can’t remember them all – and I rank them on scale of 1-10 (high) for purposes of referring them. If you could rank your reads that would help narrow the field.

Will work on tht!! Still think of and loved city of thieves by david benioff. A perfect book. Will try your recommendations! Thanks..

I am in love with mysteries. Have tried to broaden my horizons but nothing makes me happier than a mystery. Especially the British ones from early/mid 20th century. Right now I’m reading ‘An English Murder’ by Cyril Hare. I don’t like sex or foul language or graphic violence in my books. I have found that books written prior to 1960 for the most part, do not upset my gentle nature and give me great pleasure. Guess I’m trying to live in the past!

I’m reading Introduction to Nursing Research by Susan Norwood. It’s a great book if you want to return to school at the age of 47!

Im on the last hunger games book- they are all great! I’m also reading a book called “Sumer Sisters” it’s really good but I don’t know who wrote it? Next I think im going to read the “inkheart” books. Has anyone read them? Are they good? I know one of the characters is named Maggie- she has a really great name! Lol 🙂 I also think I’m gonna try to read the “twilight” books again. I have read twilight and half of new moon but then I got bored, so I went to read the hunger games.

I’m not a non-fiction reader at all, but I’m reading “Whateverland,” and “The Joy of Less, A Minimalist Living Guide: How to Declutter, Organize, and Simplify Your Life”
Both are helping me to declutter, both my life and my seriousness 🙂
