Waking up one morning to a bright and beautiful sky, only to know I
should’ve said goodbye. I kissed mommy and daddy, said I love you to
bro only to know that my world would blow. Starting class at promptly
8:06 Only to know that this was it. Last time I saw the beautiful
light, and last time I said goodbye to mommy daddy and brother.
Learning my ABC’s was my favorite, and learning math like 2+2 while in
the middle of smiling thinking “Day in day out, ill see tomorrow.”A
slam I heard, and A boom, I got scared. A man in black killed me and 19
of my peers. Then with the shame (I hope) he killed himself. I now
have wings and i am safe above. Everyone out there, remember you’re
loved. Give someone a extra big hug.
Though I am being looked over I can
never have that special love I’ve always felt. Being alone, well
actually with 25 more people I know doesn’t feel right. Goodnight my
angles down on earth, it’s time for me to sleep. Nighty night.
Pray for these people, these children, the ones you loved. Even though
you don’t know them, they’re for no reason, they are up above. Mommy I
love you, daddy I love you too. My best friend, my brother what would
I be without you. Be thankful for whatever you got and with that I
say, PRAY!

Sadness fills all of us right now but even with that sadness, we need to keep going.
I’m not great at the whole “business as usual” thing but I can give you (as promised on and off air) my late mother’s noodle pudding recipe.
Perhaps something sweet during the bitterness.
here is my mom’s noodle pudding recipe:
2 blocks of cream cheese ( 8 ounce blocks )
2 2/3 cups of sugar
6 eggs separated
2 tsp vanilla
2 sticks butter plus extra to butter pan
3 cups corn flake crumbs
2 12 oz packages egg noodles
1 cup milk
2 cups apricot nectar
preheat oven to 350*
cook noodles in salted water. Drain
while noodles are cooking:
in a mixer on medium speed:
cream 2 blocks of cream cheese with 2 cups sugar
add six egg yolks
add 2 tsp vanilla
add 2 cups apricot nectar
add 1 cup milk
in a separate bowl, beat 6 egg whites.
fold egg whites into cream cheese mixture
once noodles are cooked, drain the water and add one stick of butter to the hot noodles.
add cooled buttered noodles to cream cheese mixture.
pour mixture into buttered casserole dish.
to make corn flake crumb topping:
combine 1 stick butter (melted) and 2/3 cup sugar with 3 cups corn flake crumbs.
put corn flake crumb mixture on top of noodles.
bake in the oven at 350* for 30 minutes or until done- the longer it bakes the more dry it’ll be inside.
