Monday, August 13th
Jenny starts off the show talking about the Olympics ending.
She talks about Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan and the upcoming presidential election.
Listeners call in and share their opinions on Paul Ryan/ the election
Jenny says she is socially liberal and that she doesn’t know enough economically.
She likes Obama.
She brings up the Nathan Sorrell Nike casting call. He is 12, 5’3 and overweight
The Nike add is him running saying he can be great and is about everybody having the chance to exercise and be great.
The add has caused somewhat of an outrage / people making fun/ being cruel over it (saying its exploitation)
Jenny thinks embracing yourself is great and thinks that the add is great.
She plays audio of Nathan commenting on people’s reactions to the add.
He says the negativity motivates him to better himself even more.

Bella Thorne & Zendaya Coleman from Disney’s hit show ” Shake it Up” are in studio today!
Jenny tells them how her daughter loves them/ the show!
She laughs with them about how she asked her hair stylist to do her hair like Zendaya’s and he said no.
They talk about the Shake It Up movie/ music video.
She asks them how it feels to be teenagers in the business and they say how they are regular girls with an irregular life. They call themselves pretty average.
They talk about paparazzi and how they’re not nervous about their fans seeing what they’re doing and how they will Instigram what they are doing a lot anyway.
It takes the girls a week to learn a show
They talk about School/ Tutors (Adam, one of their teachers came to studio with them)
They say he’s loaded with a whole bunch of random facts to teach them.
The girls also have a teacher on set.
Zendaya talks about how she got into the business and how her parents supported her dreams,took chances and pushed her to do what she wanted.
Bella started acting at age 8 and talks about having dyslexia as well as how it has affected her acting.
Jenny likes that Bella speaks out about it and also had an episode of the show about her character having dyslexia and being open about it.
Aug 17th is the premiere of the movie, “Shake it up: Made in Japan” on Disney Channel!!!
