Maybe this seems more reasonable after having heard the actual conversation regarding Dan and his tic on air. He was fine with discussing what is simply a nervous habit, while others on the show commented about their own. NO BIG DEAL. I guess sometimes not actually listening to the show is a handicap when posting comments here. Ah well.

If Dan finds a cure, please let me know. My husband started doing this same annoying thing about two years ago and it drives me nuts! He won’t see a doctor or a psychologist so I am forced to watch him pick pieces of his forehead and scalp off full-time. He can’t see what the big deal is. Easy to say if you don’t have to see it up close. Sometimes humor is the only way to deal with it! People who aren’t around it all day long can’t know how distracting it is (not to mention non-hygenic! )yuk! Is it stress related, a parasite, a fungus, what?
