TV Icon Kirstie Alley Talks 50lbs Weight loss, Maksim and John Travolta!

Jenny:  I love you on twitter….you just shoot from the hip! Whatever you think goes out there.

Kirstie:  Thank you… I did an experiment I thought,  I think I could say anything and I would get an objection. So I said “Gd is good.”

 [ppl responded] “Gd is not good” “I’m an atheist are you saying atheists – people who are atheists shouldnt be on twitter?”

Kirstie: And I was like, it’s not really what I was saying. It was just an experiment to see but oh my gd people are nasty on there. When they’re good they’re great! But that probably 10% are so evil and nasty. And I have to restrain myself because I want to call them..

Jenny: You can’t be a mackerel… you cannot take the bait

Kirstie: the most sick names…

Jenny: You cannot take the bait because it’s futile……

Kirstie: I know….but I just want to take the most vile hideous name calling that I can do and just go “You ****”

Jenny: ….You can subtweet… (subtweet is tweeting something without mentioning a name)…

Kirstie: ….I know but…. I need to write a book of comebacks…the taking the high road comebacks… you gotta be smart and when you’re mad you’re not smart…

Jenny: Well yeah because your emotions cloud your intellect. It’s awful.

Kirstie: I know but I’ve wanted to use words you’ve never dreamed of!

Jenny: ….You just need to just unleash a twitter tirade…

Kirstie: For the most part I like twitter because…when somebody is a celebrity, they don’t get a chance to talk to people very often because the second I start talking to someone on the street they want a picture or something or they want an autograph so I never get to say “Hi, how are you? What are you doing? What’s your favorite movie…” You don’t get that opportunity. So that’s why I love twitter.  Then you have these see-you-next-tuesdays that I’m just like…I even want to go to their house and beat the f out of them.

Jenny: I get it!…It’s a whole psychological mind whatever…

Kirstie: And that’s why they’re doing it. To make you feel that way…

Jenny: Yes. So you can’t let them win!

Kirstie: I know, I’ve stopped responding to them.

On “Dancing With The Stars”‘s Maksim and “CHEERS” :

Jenny: Are you still close with Maksim? Do you still hang out?

Kirstie: I haven’t seen him in a while. yeah.

Jenny: …not the same as when it was…

Kirstie: (laughs) Well you know, it’s like, when you do “Cheers” and you don’t see the people for a while- you know- you move on- they have a they have their new partner…

Jenny: And you let go because you’ve got to.

Kirstie: Right.Jenny: Do you talk to the “Cheers” people still some of the time?

Kirstie: I see Rhea , Rhea and I just did two shows together.. We did “Kirstie” together which was CANCELED!Jenny: I want “Fat Actress” back!Kirstie: You know I want “Fat Actress” to come back too…I want a show that’s in the genre of “Fat Actress”…I was very jealous last night when I went to the “Girls” premier….cause I was like why am I not in a show like this, I want a show like this.

Jenny: So create it!Kirstie: Can’t I be smart enough to create a show like this?! I am going to see if I am….

Jenny: And John Travolta, you still friends with him?

Kirstie: I see John all the time…John and I always make time for each other. And he has his own plane so what can I say

Jenny: Do you bust into songs from “Grease?”

Kirstie: I bust into song.. we like to… John does the funniest thing that I’ve ever seen a human do.. and I don’t think anyone has ever seen it on – at least on television or something but he does the- what are they called?- the spanish novellas – and he does every character from the spanish novella and he has it so down.. and he does the best skits in the world! And I don’t think we’ve seen him do that enough. On talk shows he’s always very sweet and demure and you just need to see John unleashed. Seriously.
But we always make time for eachother. And like I said, he’s got a plane and when someone’s got a plane you can say come see me over here- will you be over there- He invites me all over the world. (his wife) Kelly is my best friend….They invite me everywhere.
