oh today. not great. not catastrophic. not in the mood to be (virtually chastised)… obviously i am going through a phase.
scale is within my 2 lbs range that ive had for 9plus months already. tomorrow i will probably not get on it though because i had a late dinner.

breakfast: coffee with some soy milk (50 cal), 3/4 cup barbara’s puffins cereal no milk (90 cal)
snack: coffee with whole milk (30 cal) one bite eggwhite omelette (20 cal)
lunch: banana with almond butter (300 cal)
snack: CANDY (400 cal)
dinner: eddies bar pie (300 cal)
total: about 1200 calories!
exercise: hard yoga class
tomorrow is another day to strive to be better!

Not a good day for me, had lunch with hubby which is rare and dinner with my boys which is also rare but it was sea food not too bad. It was a very bad day at work and now I have a bad headache so the work out is out for today. Tomorrow I will start all over and try to keep the focus.

be gentle to yourself. beating yourself up doesn’t help nor undo the bad day… just makes today worse! it is going to be a GREAT day!

Bkfst-3 figs, 1 tbsp honey, 8oz ff greek yogurt
Lunch- 6oz turkey breast,3/4c baked beans,1 tbsp bbq sauce, 1 bite bread
Dinner- salad with greek dressing(1 tbsp), 3 toasted ravioli ,8oz red wine
Supplements-multi vit and omega 3
Workout(now….) -40 min tracy anderson mat, 40 min treadmill tracy anderson dance wkout
Ate about 1614 calories :/ better tomm!

I’m also trying to loose some weight. Its the dreaded 10lbs. My weakness has always been potato chips and when I eat I can’t stop. Before you know it the whole bag is gone…..what to do to quit?

i can’t have potato chips!!! impossible to stop. you can do the unhealthy thing and eat them as a meal…haha. not so satiating. if you have just 10lbs to lose, then don’t be so hard on yourself. you’re doing well! maybe just limit how often you down the bag… know youre going to eat a whole bag and allot for it when that may occur! you can do it!!! xo.

Yes you can…eat Lays fat free chips. Only 1 point (Momentum WW) per ounce and they are GREAT!

Just wondering why in the world are you eating things like Almond Butter and Candy if you dont want to gain weight back? Those are the most fattening things you can eat. Its not just calories, but the fat and sugars that mess up your glycemic levels and screw up your metabolism.
Where are the vegetables? You should be having a huge salad everyday for lunch and cooked greens every night for dinner, then you probably wouldnt have a taste for all the other crap, or else it would leave your body faster. Your diet is really dreadful – you should ask your nutritionist friend for help ASAP because you really need it!!!

just stressed a little now. many days i eat BIG salads without fattening additions. and when i have almond butter the amount is 2tbs. (measured)… i know what to have. some days/weeks/etc are better than others… i am on the scale every morning…not to worry. i know how easy it is to gain weight. and i do not want to!!!! on it. i do want to give up sugar and i do LOVE vegetables.

Almond butter is full of protein and the good fats. You are tripping if you think this is not good for her and as long as she stays within her caloric intake daily she should have as much protein and good fats as possible. The protein helps keep her blood sugar in check!

Everything in moderation. It is not realistic to think that you will cut out all the less than perfect choices. As long as you count it then it’s not the worse thing. Next meal eat more balanced. Life is too short not to enjoy a sweet or drink or whatever your particular fave “cheat” may be….just saying. These posts are not about judgement….

Jennifer….a year and a half ago i was at a perfect weight and i was rockin’ my whole wardrobe and then this year has been pretty tough stress-wise and i go straight to food….i gained 40 pounds and i feel terrible not to mention my anxiety meds contributed to weight gain and now i’m weaning off them but in the meantime i still have to shed the 40…i’m a huge P90X fan and i adore Tony Horton and he’s usually my inspiration and even he’s not right now…i just wrote in your chatbox asking you if you ever get annoyed with people asking the same questions etc. but i really don’t know if i ever read this answer or saw anyone ask you…..what motivated you to lose weight and how did you re-program yourself to do it….i know i can do it but it’s never been this hard although life is throwing way too many curveballs right now (not trying to make excuses but…)….i find this food diary very inspirational and i do not judge ANY THING you eat including sugars because some people don’t understand that no matter what diet you’re on…WE NEED OUR SWEETS!!! (so FYI…i wouldn’t give a shit about anyone trying to call you out about sugar because if i’m not mistaken WW doesn’t give a shit as long as your points are in check and P90X doesn’t care either as long as you go by their plan and stay in your calorie category) that being said….what you are doing here is truly generous of your time and privacy….and i am grateful and thank you for the kind spirited person you are with a wonderfully kick ass sense of humor….HAIL TO DEODORANT PICS!!! hahaha!!! thanks lisa! i have talked about it..if you go back in my blog to once a fattie always a fattie- which is from i think october or november of 2010 in the archives..i talk a little bit about making better choices. also in may of 2010 i think there’s another post. you can also put weight loss into the search box and some blogs will pop up. i dont get annoyed by questions…i like them!
talk to your dr about your medications- maybe theres something he/she can do to help with the weight effect…
and please be nice to yourself. you will get through the stress and back to how you feel at your best.
