i overindulged on thanksgiving like most do! and today, the scale reminded me that i am paying for it.
the key to weight management for me is tightening things up after ive eaten too much…and that means keeping a food diary. gentle reminder: i am not a nutritionist and i am not always the healthiest eater. but i have maintained a significant weightloss so far for more than a year. and my goal is to always maintain this (depending on the day) 68- 70 lbs loss.
breakfast:
lots of coffee with some soy milk (no other sweetener)
and 4 tootsie roll midgees (not proud but pms and so what!)
i went on the treadmill for an hour with my heartrate in the fat burning zone the whole time. (watched the movie “the switch”..adorable!)
lunch: (at home)
had arugula with 2 tbs raisins and il villagio parmigiano cheese bites (had one for snack earlier, then 2 in my salad) – these are terrific because they have 80 cal/individually wrapped pieces and 8gms protein per serving! i used just balsamic vinegar on my salad.
snack:
honey dew and cantelope and some grapes.
dinner: (at a restaurant)
one piece wheat bread with tsp butter
iceberg/romaine lettuce with shaved parmigiano (not much!) and a snack pack of raisins.
dessert:
shared some cannoli cream and whipped cream with the whole table!
a few more tootsie roll midgees.

Don’t you get hungry? I am 5’5 weigh 126lbs…not overweight but gaining in the stomach rapidly. I was warned once I hit 40 this would happen. The problem is my stomach never stops growling…and if I just have a light salad or yogurt, I get so hungry an hour later. It’s embarrassing! BTW – love your show and admire your honesty~

I am a huge fan and I hate to see you struggle. I have a small suggestion. Have you ever considered COMPLETELY cutting candy from your diet? I believe (with all my heart) this minute change would drastically help you.
Just a thought.
