    Hi Jen,

Really love your show. Just wanted to say as someone who teaches sports nutrition, you could be getting a lot more “bang” for your calorie bucks. The foods you are choosing (a lot of the time) are highly processed, full of sodium (cottage cheese) and simple sugars (candy). If you went the route of whole foods, you could actually eat a lot more, boost your metabolism, maintain your weight loss AND become super regular (something you’ve complained about). I’m talking about lots of vegetables, fruit, whole grains and lean proteins. You work so hard to keep your weight stable, it just pains me when I see your food blog to see your diet working against you. Take my advice or leave it, I’m sure you already know all this 🙂

Agreed Ally. I do the above with a little cheating here and there but happily get to eat a lot more food, not boring, very yummy things going this route, and have been able to maintain my weight pretty easily. And every day, I don’t really feel guilty about anything I’m eating, which is SO nice.

Food can be fun, satisfying and still completely nourishing- without out the emotional baggage of, “Shit why did I eat that?”— it’s totally not necessary to beat yourself up over it, or be constipated either :]

Sorry for my lame speech— I’m rooting for you Jenny, always!
